JORDIN SPARKS STYLE INSPIRATION!

Hello everyone,

This is going to be one exciting blog post, so sit back, relax and let's get this Sparks show started!

It all happened two weeks ago on a Saturday at the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas. A day before the event I was on twitter and came across this tweet that Jordin Sparks will be singing/promoting her new album Right Here Right Now, so I new I couldn't miss it because if you knew me you would know that I'm a big music fanatic and I love attending events like these. Plus, this would be my second time seeing Jordin live, so I knew I couldn't miss the chance to hear her incredible powerhouse of a voice.  She performed some of her worldwide known hits like Tattoo, No Air and Battlefield, but also included some new songs of her album which I really loved. It was a blast! Not only is she incredibly talented, but I also really admire how down to earth and genuine toward her fans she is.

That day, I felt in love with Jordin Sparks' style, so an immediate thought came to me, to recreate this look and share it with all of you.

Looking effortlessly charming in her romper, Jordin captured the audience not only with vocals, but style.
Blue, blue and more blue, please, is what I'm thinking!
Trying to find a similar romper as hers, I hit up a few stores and I have to say I was expecting it to be a bit difficult, but my wish was granted quickly when I walked into Target. I saw this allure lace romper which is close enough the one that Jordin is wearing and when I tried it on it looked really cute, so I got it. I especially love the lace detail and the way it fits. Now every time I wear it, I feel like I'll be reminded of Jordin Sparks and this one special day.

Once again I got lucky in finding the perfect pair of shoes. I saw that Jordin had these crossband wedges in black, so I was on a mission to find a similar pair. I came home with these oasis high wedges by Montego Bay Club which I found on clearance at Payless. That and the fact that these look like the wedges Jordin is wearing, only in white (the black ones were out of stock) made me super excited.  Now we're shoe twins as well :)

When it comes to jewelry, on this day Jordin Sparks only went with a bracelet and earrings, which made it a lot easier for me to recreate. I just chose a pair of the prettiest long earrings that I own from Charming Charlie because I noticed that hers were somewhat similar.
I think that Jordin rocked this look and she didn't need any more jewelry because her biggest accessory was her smile, so bright it can lighten up a whole city.

Singing at the top of her lungs, Jordin Sparks delivered a great show. I enjoyed it so much and had an unforgettable day, one that I'll always have to look back on and smile. She just brought so much "sparks" in Vegas that I wish she performed at the mall every weekend :)

Let me know what's your favorite Jordin Sparks song? Let it play and enjoy the rest of the day!

I've got to go now, but you know I'll see you next week. Maybe a bit later because I'm going on an exciting trip, so I'll upload when I get back. I haven't finished packing yet, so I'm going to go do that. Bye!

TIMELESS LACE DREAM!

Hello everyone,

Today's inspiration look comes from a little lace dream. One that's delicate, soft and timeless. A dream full of promises, of love and joy. One from which you don't want to wake up from because it's all you ever dreamed of.

Sweet as the aroma of fresh flowers, this floral lace bralette gives me the confidence to shine. Also, it fills me up with the courage to experiment even more with fashion and to express myself thought the pieces I wear. I purchased it at the fabulous Victoria's Secret store and I think I know their secret. The secret is: Every piece in the store is truly made to make each woman feel comfortable, sexy and powerful like a true bombshell. What do you think?

Speaking of a bombshell, one does not leave the house without a statement accessory, right? In this case, mine is this long white scarf with hanging fringe along the edge. What's really eye catching about it is that one half of it is crochet, which makes it so unique and extra special. If you're looking for good scarfs, I suggest you head to Target because that's where I got this beauty from.

To add some class to the mixture, I added this really pretty high waist flare skirt. Isn't it gorgeous? I especially love the design that goes around the whole skirt and the silky material that hugs my body like a dream.

And of course dreams are nowhere complete without some heels. These Colin Stuart strap wedges not only compliment the rest of the outfit, but they're the perfect height.

With this look a little jewelry goes a long way which is why I only added two pieces. One being this delicate stars silver necklace from Brighton, which I received as a gift a few years back from someone special. The other one being this coins bracelet which drew me in one day when I was looking through the jewelry selection at Target. Usually everything there is so colorful and beautiful that I can literally browse for hours.

Giving me some flower power, the one last item worth mentioning is this sherbet rose headband from American Eagle which was on sale for five dollars. What I hear is that it makes me look sixteen again told to me by my sister, which I can't complain about. hahahah

If by any means you want something to pop out because this look is very neutral, why not add a bright bag? That's what's wonderful about fashion, you can make it however it feels best to you, to your liking. Whether that be bright heels or colorful accessories. Just go with it; you'll be surprised by how good it looks.

That's all for today's post. As always I really hope that you enjoyed it.
I've got to go now and get ready for the day ahead. I'll talk to very soon. Have a beautiful day. Bye!

AUGUST MULTI-VIBRANT LOOK!

Hello everyone,

Notice anything different?
If you guessed a new hair style then you're right. I got my hair cut shorter into a A- Line Bob hairstyle a few weeks back by my amazingly talented sister. I was so over the long hair and wanted for years to try something new and different, so one night while my sister (who is not a professional hairdresser)  was trimming my hair and I told her " You know what,  just cut it really short. I want change!" And that's exactly what she did. She did a fantastic job and looking at the result, I think it's safe to say that she's a true professional. Do you like it?
I LOVE it! It's so much easier to take care of and the best part is that in these hot summer temperatures I can breath because now my hair feels light and over the top happy.
After that I was "walking on sunshine" because you know what, I realized that change can be wonderful, something that I shouldn't fear so much. It's part of life! We grow and learn through the changes we make in our lives. Next time you dread change, think about all the good outcomes that can overflow your way in all parts of you life. I wouldn't have felt this excited and satisfied if I stuck to the same boring hairstyle all my life and kept dreaming of trying a new cut. So with anything in life, have the courage! Go out there and get it, make it happen for yourself. The power is within you!

On a nice day out shopping or exploring when you want to feel comfortable, I would suggest a simple outfit like this one. Starting off with a cotton tee on top like this cute one I bought at Victoria's Secret. It's the softest tee I own and the vibrant neon design on the front pocket and the sleeves is what got me. I'm a lover of all things neon, bright and beautiful, so within seconds I grabbed it, purchased it and felt like the happiest girl in the world.
Short- shorts are a summer's must have which is why I picked these light denim ones from Forever 21. Paired with anything on top, you'll always look fresh and stylish. I'm sure many of you can relate when I say that denim is the one fashion trend that you follow with an open heart because I can bet we all own more than one pair of denim shorts and jeans.
When being on foot all day, nice pretty sandals go a long way. These are by the brand Montego Bay Club. I love them lots! Definitely the pair I would always pick whenever I'm on foot all day.

Adding more color to this vibrant look thanks to this orange cross-body bag, which is my new favorite item. I bought it on sale at Charming Charlie for around eight dollars. I constantly wear it because it's really spacious and it fits a lot, which is ideal for days like these when I don't want to carry a bigger and heavier handbag.
Keeping away the sunlight from my eyes I'm sporting these awesome American Eagle sunglasses. Not only that, but they're also very stylish and I can never have too many pairs of sunglasses. You always need them and the more, the better because then you can choose which ones to wear depending on your mood.

Thank you for hanging out with me today. Have a fabulous upcoming week ahead.

Looking at the calender and wondering where the time has gone? Summer soon will be over, but fall fashion is coming and that makes really excited. I can't wait to share with you some of my favorite fall fashion looks! It will be fun and before you know it, summer will be here once again.

I hope you enjoyed this post and next week, I'll be back with another special look. One that you wouldn't want miss, so make sure to follow my blog and share it with friends and family. That will make me so happy! Also, don't be afraid to leave me some suggestions of what you would like to see here or if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them.

LOVE LEATHER!

Hello everyone,

Are you also a leather lover? If you are I'm hoping you find this blog post inspiring and entertaining in some way. If not, you can easily become leather obsessed feeling empowered, fearless and like the baddest rocker chick in town. That's exactly how I felt. The one thing missing was a motorcycle to ride on. Image it! That would be the cherry on top of a chocolate cake. How cool!!!

I can keep going on and on about my desire to ride a motorcycle in this outfit, but I'm sure that won't be very interesting to you so let's talk about this look.
The inspiration behind it is incorporating some of my favorite leather pieces into one, but also a big part why I chose this outfit is to show that us women are warriors full of potential, strength, loyalty and the ability to juggle all that life throws at us. That should make us extremely proud because you know what? We are AMAZING. So next time you feel like everything is too much think of how far you've come and never ever give up.

I think a little sequin goes a long way with this leather look, which is why I picked this LOVE graphic tee from EXPRESS. It looks like it was made for this look, fits like a glove. I LOVE IT! I love the way it gives a pop of color and adds some chic. Tucked in into this high waist skirt, it will 100% bring out the fashionista in you.
Even though it wasn't cold outside(I was actually sweating) for more leather fire, I had to add this moto jacket as well from EXPRESS. It's the best topper to any outfit for an extra edge and statement that won't be forgotten. Thrust me, you'll be remembered as the toughest chic in town after showing up with a jacket like that, never mind the motorcycle.
And for shoes, I added my newest favorite TROUVE wedge sandals. I'm in love with the buckle detail on both straps and that rustic denim feel that these shoes portray from afar. A big plus, which took me by surprise is that they are actually really comfortable. I walked in them for quiet a long time and the results were satisfying, no blisters or aching pain :)

For accessories I went with my signature gold jewelry. That includes these two bangles. One being a rose gold fireball charm bangle and the other one a sliver quattro G bangle, both at eight dollars each which is awesome considering that you can always mix and match them with all kinds of different charms. For a touch of glam, my other hand is in full bliss with this single rhinestone hand chain and ring set. Recently, I've been really getting into hand chain pieces like this one. Whenever I see some at the store I'm in awe and I just love them because to me they add that special something to one's hand. It's really fascinating, making your hand look so beautiful and looking at it is so much more pleasant than when there is nothing on it. The final piece of jewelry on me are these gorgeous triangular earrings that are on another lever from the hoop earrings that I have been sporting lately. These earrings got me singing "Cool for the Summer" because they're indeed so cool!

Okay, my love for leather had come to an end only in blog post form. As always keep on loving and I'll see you next time here once again. Have a fabulous day!!! Bye!
