Hello everyone, 

Are you ready for 2016?
I'm so ready for the New Year, I'm already counting the days 'til New Year's Eve! What can I say, I'm just really looking forward to new experiences, new opportunities and changes in whatever that may be. I strongly believe this year is going to be my luckiest year of all because six is my favorite number and anything with a six immediately puts me in the best mood because I know it's going to be GOOD! I can't wait!!! (I've been waiting for 2016 for so long and now it's almost here.) I'm not saying that 2015 was bad, it was actually really great, but my gut tells me 2016 is going to be one that I'll never forget. What about you? Which has been your favorite year so far and what are you wishing to happen to you in the New Year? 

I love that with the New Year we all inspire to change for the better, we all grow and become wiser, we all set our minds to doing things that will make us happier and we all have hope for a positive outcome. Some of us make resolutions, others set goals, but we all strive to be the best versions of ourselves which is a big step toward leaving the past behind and creating a bright future, not only for us, but for generations to come.  

Having said all that I wanted to write this post to wish you the best New Year of your life, but also to get your help on which dress I should wear for the special night. It's between this red flame dress versus this blue sequin luxe. What do you think? I really need your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below and whichever dress gets the most votes, I'll wear it to welcome in 2016.
 I'm having the hardest time deciding because both dresses are gorgeous, glamorous and perfect for a New Year's Eve party. I really love the blue one because blue is my favorite color, it's covered in sequins and it's all you could really want in a dress. On the other hand, I love the red dress because it's sexy, it's got the most beautiful detailing around the neck and it hugs the body right. See, I'm really confused and am up to wearing either one (if I could, I would wear them both at once), but I'll let you decide which one exactly will accompany me once the clock starts ticking 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Hello everyone, 

1. Designer Brand Wardrobe: Fashion is all about finding new unique pieces that can last you a lifetime, which is why my first resolution for the New Year is a wardrobe full of designer apparel. I mean which girl wouldn't want that? It would be a dream come true! Imagine a walk-in closet the size of three rooms full with all designer things a true fashionista needs like dresses, blouses, trousers, hats, handbags, sunglasses, shoes and the list goes on and on. It would be such an adventure picking out a new outfit to wear everyday. Just thinking about it I get goosebumps from knowing that I have endless options for wear and the highest quality of clothing that can make me feel like a true princess. This is exactly why I picked out this designer sequined dress by Sonia Rykiel. Not only is it stunning, but also it will put me in the mood of welcoming the new 2016 year in shiny spirits, bright smile, and remarkable style. I LOVE it! Plus, anything with sequence attracts me right away, so picking this dress was easy and an immediate YES when I saw it. What do you think, is this something you would wear for a New Year's party? 

2. Pretty in Patterns: Knowing it's cold during the winter, chilly at night, wearing this dress is perfectly fine, but extra warmth and style won't hurt, so I picked out these Dolce & Gabbana crochet tights to go hand in hand with the sequence dress. Plus, these tights match my next resolution, which is to be more open of adding different pattern items to my outfit choices in the future. In a way this can be scary, if like me, you're used to wearing mostly solid colored pieces, but I'm going to make it my New Year priority to think outside of the box when it comes to fashion and try to add little pattern details here and there. I think starting small in the beginning until I get used to going all out is a key element. 3. Never Go Out Of Style: The last thing you would want is to feel and look out of style as if you live in another century, which brings me to my third aspiration for the New Year that involves having staple pieces that never got out of style. Just like denim, animal prints and the military look are considered fashion forward, I want to stick to pieces that I can also wear in ten or fifteen years from now. For that reason I chose to add to my look these signature Dolce & Gabbana high stiletto heels. They sure add a little edge to the rest of the look and give it so spice. I'm a fan of the decorative buttons detail in the front and of course, the height of the heel. What do you think, are you a fan of these stilettos? They can be worn with various outfits from more casual to dressy looks just like this one. Mainly, stilettos never go out of style and I know I would be able to wear them for many years, as long as I keep them in top notch condition without any scratches, which is no problem for me because I still have clothes and shoes from high school that look like new. :) 

4. New Funky Pieces: Let's get funky! Now and then all you want to do is experiment with new styles that in the long term can become part of your signature look, so let's be courageous together this New Year and try to go out of our comfort zone in fashion. This way we won't dwell on the fact that we didn't go for a certain piece, but the opposite we went for it and make it our own. This being one of my New Year's resolutions, when browsing through the site to find something to fully complete my look, I stopped on this P.A.R.O.S.H. black sleeveless fur coat because it's stylish, it's perfect and it's something new. I love it! I think it looks mesmerizing with the dress, the tights and the heels. A fur coat like this one has the power to bring out the fashionista in you (yes, clothes have power) and make you blossom from inside out.     

5. The More Jewelry The Better: Being a jewelry queen, I had to add this one to my list. I love everything from gold, silver to rose gold pieces. I believe an outfit with earrings, bracelets and a necklace enhances the beauty of the rest of the look and gives it some spark (actually lots of sparks.) Now I know that there's a lot of sequin already, which is why I only chose to add these gorgeous chain fringe earrings to my look. These ones are one of a kind by IOSSELLIANI because the studs are made of black Swarovski crystals which speak volumes of elegance and prestige. Looking at them, I know they'll be the perfect addition to my jewelry collection! Plus, as I say,"The more jewelry, the better!
